Rebel Robotics Team United States of America 🇺🇸
Rebel Robotics had the great honor of winning the Inspire award at the World Championship. This award, the most prestigious in the program, is given to the team who shows excellence in robot design, programming, community involvement, and performance on the playing field. As a result of this win, Rebel Robotics was invited to represent The United States of America in an Olympics-style competition where each country sends only one team, FIRST Global Challenge. Until the competition in Panama City, Panama this October, the team will be hard at work creating a new robot for the FGC game shown here. They will also forever have a banner hanging in the FTC hall of fame in honor of their achievements.
This exciting opportunity also caught the attention of many media outlets and news channels, as well as our congressman Mike Flood, who celebrated this team on the floor of congress. We hope this coverage helps in our efforts to grow our Nebraska program and inspires other students to follow in Rebel’s footsteps.
